Forthcoming speakers

The Hebden Bridge Literary and Scientific Society was founded in 1905 ‘to carry out the further education of the inhabitants by means of assembling together to read and hear papers on subjects kindred to such an association.’ Over the past one hundred and sixteen years we have presented a series of well attended lectures on a variety of topics from eminent speakers.
